The Chocolate Church Arts Center is a community-supported arts center. The majority of the funds needed to serve you with high-quality concerts, gallery shows and theater productions, workshops and special events come from sources in our community, including our members, corporate sponsors and foundations. You can be assured that your donation will be managed wisely to support The Chocolate Church Arts Center's vital programs and community services. As a member, you receive the following benefits:

At The Center for the Arts at Chocolate Church, we cultivate creativity and culture; we want to bring the world of art to our community.

History


Spring, 1999 First Youth Theater Program first production, The Wizard of Oz, opened with seven sold-out performances. This full production featured full lighting, sets, costumes and a pit band. More than 90 children auditioned and 60 participated in this production.

Spring, 2000 Presented the Broadway favorite Annie, Jr. to full houses and much critical acclaim.

Fall, 2000 CCAC journeyed to Neverland with Peter Pan, a technically ambitious production.

Fall, 2001 Produced the musical adaptation of Antoine de St. Exupery's The Little Prince.

Summer, 2001  Hosted an Arts Camp with support from the Davenport Fund. Art Camp was offered again in 2002.

Fall, 2002 Brought an old-fashioned melodrama and memorable characterizations in The Face on the Barroom Floor.

Spring, 2003 CCAC produced a stunning Sound of Music, which amazed audiences with the outstanding performances of a truly gifted cast.

Spring, 2004 Brought Oliver! Another hit!

Winter, 2004 Produced The Snow Queen

Spring, 2005 Produced The Music Man

Winter, 2005 Produced Broadway Review

Spring, 2006 Produced West Side Story

Spring, 2007 Produced Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Spring, 2008 Coming For the 2007-2008 Season - Les Miserables!
