Explore the mystical sounds and images of Hildegard von Bingen, a 12th-century composer, philosopher, botanist, doctor, former magistra (mother superior), current saint, and one of the first-named music composers. Hildegard experienced visions (“umbra viventis lucis” or “the reflection of the living light”) starting at the age of three. This multimedia concert features music by The Pandora Consort and images of medieval artwork animated by Cate Duckwall.
