Dream Lab is a week-long camp program, limited to 12 participants and led by Chocolate Church Arts Center Executive and Artistic Director Matthew Glassman and accompanying artists. Dream Lab explores creativity through dreaming in all its ways, shapes, and forms.
Campers will work in groups to explore representations of dreams in a variety of mediums from visual art, film, comics, and more. Each participant will create a dream journal of original and found art, writing, and design. Each will have an opportunity to create a mask, puppet, or object. One day will be spent at Popham Beach to do dream-inspired world-building in nature. Participants will embark on their own independent projects, in whatever medium of expression they choose.
At the end of the week, participants will share their work in a Dream Cabaret in the Chocolate Church Annex.
